  2. Fill in your travel details

    Enter your passport details, planned entry and exit dates, and intended port of entry. Double-check your entry date — you cannot arrive in Vietnam before the e-visa start date.

  3. Upload passport scan and photo

    Upload a colour JPEG scan of your passport bio-data page and your digital passport photo (plain white background, JPEG, max 1024 KB). The photo format is the most common rejection reason.

  4. Pay USD 25 (single) or USD 50 (multiple)

Vietnam's Immigration Department moved its electronic visa portal to two new government domains, evisa.gov.vn and thithucdientu.gov.vn, from 11 November 2024. The old address now shows only that notice. The fee is unchanged — USD 25 single entry, USD 50 multiple entry, up to 90 days — and is not refunded if the application is refused. Lookalike sites that charge several times the government fee are common; check the domain before paying.
