Thailand visa on arrival is NO LONGER available for Nigerian passport holders as of 2026. Nigerians must apply for a pre-travel e-visa at thaievisa.go.th or at the Thai Embassy in Abuja. An NDLEA certificate is also required — get it before applying.

    Upload your passport bio page, passport photo (white background), return ticket, hotel booking, bank statement, and NDLEA certificate. Ensure all scans are clear.

  4. Pay visa fee

    Pay the tourist visa fee online by card. Processing typically takes 3–7 working days.

  5. Complete Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

    All travelers must submit a Thailand Digital Arrival Card before entering Thailand. Complete it at the official TDAC portal or via the Thai immigration app before your flight.

Thailand's e-visa went worldwide on 1 January 2025

Thailand completed the rollout of its electronic visa system across all 94 embassies and consulates general on 1 January 2025. Applications are made at thaievisa.go.th from anywhere; the in-person submission that used to be required is gone. Nationality still governs eligibility and fee, but not the channel.
