    Create an account on Togo's official travel platform and complete the immigration form (bordereau d'immigration) at least 24 hours before you land. It is free. There is no visa to apply for.

  2. Carry the yellow fever certificate

    The original card, at least 10 days old. It is checked on arrival at Lomé.

  3. Fly to Lomé

    Ethiopian Airlines connects Entebbe (EBB) → Addis Ababa (ADD) → Lomé (LFW). Keep your return ticket and accommodation details to hand for immigration.

  4. Explore Togo — and Benin or Ghana next door

    Lomé's Grand Marché and Akodessewa market, Kpalimé's hills and waterfalls, Togoville on Lake Togo. Cotonou is about two hours away and Accra about three.

Togo's official travel platform states that all African nationals with a valid passport may enter without a visa for up to 30 days, provided they complete the online immigration form (bordereau d'immigration) at least 24 hours before arrival. Visas on arrival and express visas are suspended. Secondary reports date the change to 18 May 2026. This page went on showing a USD 50 e-visa until October 2026.
